The North West Winter Wool Festival is a gathering dedicated to the rich traditions of knitting, crocheting, weaving, and spinning. Created by an indie yarn dyer in response to the increasing call for more fibre arts events in the North West, this festival offers a warm, welcoming space for creativity and community. With a focus on supporting both vendors and visitors, we invite you to experience two days of cosy connections and creative exploration.

Situated on the Queen's Promenade in Blackpool, the Norbreck Castle Hotel offers ample parking both on-site and in the nearby streets, ensuring easy access for all visitors.
PARKING: Parking is free but please note that if you park within the hotel grounds, you will need to register your registration number using the QR Code on arrival.

PARKING: Parking is free but please note that if you park within the hotel grounds, you will need to register your registration number using the QR Code on arrival. This QR Code will be visible throughout the exhibition hall. Parking is monitored by Parking Eye and a failure to register will result in a parking fine for which the event organisers and hotel will not be liable.
By train
Blackpool North Station is the main railway stations serving Blackpool. The best way to get to the Norbreck Castle Hotel from here is to catch a tram which takes 16 minutes and costs around £4. The Tram stops directly outside the venue.

The North West Winter Wool Festival is a 2-day event held every February. The next show will take place on the 14th & 15th February 2026.
Doors will open at 10am Saturday & Sunday and close at 4pm Saturday & Sunday.

Online advance purchase tickets will go on sale on 15th October 2025. Note: the complimentary show pattern is only available to advance purchase ticket holders.

In the event of cancellation all tickets and workshop places would be refunded. Workshops would be refunded from the workshop host.
