 I was once told that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and that's how I feel about my yarn dyeing business.  Inspiration from the world we live in and the beautiful colour's we see.From the countryside to the coastline with the seasons changing. Fruit, vegetables and flowers growing in our garden also inspire my creativity for colour. 

 Bright and bold hand dyed yarns to bring a touch of brightness to your projects. A beautiful collection of bright and bold hand dyed yarn, in a variety of styles including hand painted, mini skeins and self stripe on a variety of bases including luxury fibres. All featuring my love of vibrant colours.  Alongside the yarns I retail my handmade stitch markers, yarn cosy’s, resin glitter buttons in an assortment of sizes and a selection of handcrafted wooden yarn bowls and knitting accessories.

  Auspicious Stitch started in 2025 when Sammy was made redundant from her job as an industrial sewing machinist. She decided it was now or never to turn her favourite hobby into a valuable resource for the fibre arts community and her tutorial videos have been viewed by hundreds of thousands of aspiring spinners. Sammy is a completely self-taught spinner who has made it her mission to make fibre arts accessible for all, regardless of financial or social status.  

 Auspicious Stitch is the home of vivid, lovingly carded batts in project quantities which are suitable for spinning & felting, focusing on expressive colour, zero-waste practices & making available all of the things Sammy wishes she could have accessed as a new fibre artist. Her hand dyed curly locks, silk and roving is taking the spinning world by storm and she is always coming up with new & exciting colour and texture combinations.

 Louise is passionate about bringing colour into your life.  With luxury bases from lace to chunky, merino to silk mixes, boucle to sparkles there is a variety to choose from.   If you are interested in Tunisian crochet, Bow Fiddle Yarns has a selection of hooks, patterns and books to choose from and Louise is always happy to help answer any questions. She also brings her hand made stitch markers and yarn cosies to complement the range of KnitPro needles and hooks.  The range of notions is sourced from a number of independent makers. A curated selection of patterns, including her own designs, makes Bow Fiddle Yarns a one stop shop.

 I am a huge lover of colour and as a hairdresser my work has always been about helping people express themselves through their hair. As a knitter and yarn dyer I have blended the two, pulling my colour knowledge from working with hair and applying it to yarn dyeing, encouraging people to play with colour and express themselves through the garments and projects they make.

 Fiona of Cosy Rosie UK designs modern, easy-to-read crochet patterns for you and your home, alongside size-inclusive designs for your wardrobe. Her curated crochet kits use popular yarns, selected tools and accessories to ensure you can complete your project with confidence. 

 We have been hand dyers of luxury yarns and fibres for 14 years. We have blends that include yak, camel and alpaca as well as tussah and mulberry silks. We are main stockists of Lykke needles and hooks. we have our own brand of umbrella swifts and winders 

Lucy Locket Land is a happy, friendly craft shop in the North East of England specialising in natural fibre yarns and knitting, stitching and crochet kits. Socks, Shawls, Fair Isle, Toys and more. There is something for everyone and wonderful accessories too! With a particular love for colour, and fun and a passion for sharing the joy of creativity, Lucy’s shop is always a welcoming place to be and she brings that sparkle and enthusiasm to the yarn shows she attends too. 

 Maddie Harvey Designs is an inspirational knitwear business, founded by me, Maddie Harvey, a passionate and energetic award-winning knitwear designer and workshop tutor. 

For over 10 years I have been helping knitters develop their creativity and confidence by providing well-written patterns and thoughtfully chosen yarn kits, using a carefully curated yarn selection. All of this, to ensure knitting project satisfaction! 

I specialise in knit designs with geometric lace and textured rib patterning, and designs that use variegated yarn in an elegant and understated way. I’m often inspired by finding joy in the small things in life and in my love of the outdoors. I have a particular focus on supplying yarns kits with easily recyclable packaging, and in using yarns containing natural fibres from both well-established brands and indie yarn producers and dyers. 

Meet Ebony, the creative force behind Maru Studio.  

In Japanese, maru means “round”. I first came across it through Chiyomaru, a sumo wrestler known for being perfectly round, playful, and irresistibly cute - often compared to soft, round animals. Over time, “Maru” became a little archetype for me: a symbol of all things round, gentle, cosy, and joyfully shaped.

Friends eventually started calling me “Maru”, and the name stayed. For me, it’s not just about physical roundness - it’s about the feeling of softness, warmth, and ease. “Maru” is my way of celebrating round, cute things and the comforting, wholehearted lifestyle they represent. 

 Natural Born Dyers started in 2010 producing naturally-dyed yarn with a  focus on mainly British wool yarn in finer weights. They also hand turn a variety of wooden tools and accessories for  fibre crafters, mainly from locally sourced wood, including their unique Spurtzleur spinning tool 

 Penny Stitch craft is a Liverpool based indie yarn dyer, craft tutor and designer of upcycled project bags and tool pouches.  She has been dyeing her yarns inspired by sci-fi and fantasy themes for over 2 years and has developed her reputation as a skilled freelance crochet and knitting tutor around Merseyside. You may have met her at a workshop.   Come to her stand where there is a little something for everyone. Stock up on everything you need to enhance your crafting experience including Stitch markers, sock blockers, wool wash as well as range of plant and wool based hand dyed yarns.  She also supports other designers by stocking a small selection of knitting and crochet patterns which you can also buy yarn kits to make them with.  

 Hi, I'm Sarah, the founder of Rainbow Dandelion Crochet. 

Rainbow Dandelion Crochet grew from a love of creativity, mindfulness, and connection. What started as a crochet hobby quickly became something much bigger when I discovered the positive impact that yarn crafts can have on wellbeing, confidence, and mental health. 

 I create handmade crochet pieces, crochet bundles, patterns, and mindful crochet experiences designed to be inclusive, welcoming, and accessible to everyone. Alongside my products, I also teach crochet to people of all ages and abilities, from complete beginners picking up a hook for the first time to experienced makers looking to develop new skills. 

 Red Squirrel and Dune is a Formby-based artisan yarn company specialising in hand-dyed, small-batch fibres. Inspired by coastal landscapes and natural textures, they create unique colourways with eco-conscious methods. Their yarns blend creativity and sustainability, offering makers a tactile connection to nature and a story in every skein. 

I hand dye ethically sourced affordable yarns the colourways are inspired by the countryside and coastline of my home in Somerset. I design patterns for Shawls and accessories, some of which are sold as kits. I stock a large selection of gifts, project bags, including the popular gift a balls.

 Sardines For Tea design unique toys and characters that are easy to knit, and easy to love! Their kits contain all you'll need to create your own little animal, using high quality yarns and materials. On their stand you will also find some lovely yarns and quirky haberdashery. 

 Second City Yarns is all about celebrating Birmingham using vibrant colours and non superwash British yarn and fibre. Inspiration comes from the Botanical Gardens, Jewellery Quarter and even the city's iconic 11 bus route! You can also pick up a Brummie Beanie kit to keep your head warm.  

seriously.hooked.up is a community craft collective that brings people together who share a passion for yarn and fibre crafts. 

We run a number of weekly and fortnightly social sessions across Lancashire.

Our socials are open to anyone who has a passion for crochet, knitting, weaving, spinning (or any other yarn or fibre based craft) and also those wishing to learn or improve! All abilities are welcome.

 The Craft Firm specialises in creating beautiful handmade luxury items from the finest alpaca fleece and yarns. From handspun to hand dyed yarns, carded batts for spinning, fleece for felting, knitting kits and ready made accessories, all incredibly warm and soft to touch. Based in the Forest of Bowland they produce handspun yarn from their own herd of alpacas as well as selling other gorgeous alpaca yarns hand dyed on their farm. They will be bringing a range of products to the show, and especially a range of exciting designs from two Yorkshire based designers, Fiona Drake and Lucy Burns. 

Lucy is a knitter, crocheter, spinner and independent yarn dyer.

 She originally trained in the sciences, but due to chronic illness became unable to work full-time and had to put her career on hold. Knitting and crochet got her through some tough times and in 2019 she began experimenting with yarn dyeing. She found that she could apply her lab skills to create complex and repeatable colourways. 

Working with her hands has always given her great pleasure and working for herself allows her to work with her illness, rather than against it.

 I'm Kassy, the dyer at the heart of Wooly Mama Yarns. I have loved knitting and crochet for many years but fell even more in love with fibre crafts the first time I dyed yarn. I was fascinated by the entire process, from selecting the colours (endless possibilities) to watching the yarn as it gradually took up the dye. It was like my very own alchemy experiment in my dye pot and I very much felt like a mad scientist!
