 I was once told that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and that's how I feel about my yarn dyeing business.  Inspiration from the world we live in and the beautiful colour's we see.From the countryside to the coastline with the seasons changing. Fruit, vegetables and flowers growing in our garden also inspire my creativity for colour. 

 At Allium Threads natural dyes to are used to colour yarn, embroidery thread, fabric and weaving yarn. Using plants from the garden and nearby give unique colours. There are knitting patterns influenced by historic textiles and dress and by the countryside and natural forms and kits for these.  

 Bright and bold hand dyed yarns to bring a touch of brightness to your projects. A beautiful collection of bright and bold hand dyed yarn, in a variety of styles including hand painted, mini skeins and self stripe on a variety of bases including luxury fibres. All featuring my love of vibrant colours.  Alongside the yarns I retail my handmade stitch markers, yarn cosy’s, resin glitter buttons in an assortment of sizes and a selection of handcrafted wooden yarn bowls and knitting accessories. 

 Knitting has been a constant in Angela's life, first making clothes for her dolls, then herself, and now she shares her passion by hand dying wool to fit the knitting patterns she has designed so that people can create their own masterpeice by following her patterns.    Living in Morecambe bay, near the river Lune, Lancaster canal and the Lake District, water in all it's forms provides endless inspiration for textures, colours and shapes. Water brings a sense of calm, but also excitement with the way things are distorted through water, and how the enviroment is reflected on the surface.

 Louise is passionate about bringing colour into your life.  With luxury bases from lace to chunky, merino to silk mixes, boucle to sparkles there is a variety to choose from.   If you are interested in Tunisian crochet, Bow Fiddle Yarns has a selection of hooks, patterns and books to choose from and Louise is always happy to help answer any questions. She also brings her hand made stitch markers and yarn cosies to complement the range of KnitPro needles and hooks.  The range of notions is sourced from a number of independent makers. A curated selection of patterns, including her own designs, makes Bow Fiddle Yarns a one stop shop.  

   We’re a family hill farm in the Scottish Borders, raising 1,500 South Country Cheviot x NZ Romney sheep. We turn their wool into 4ply, DK, and Aran yarns, and beautiful Lambswool blankets made locally in Langholm. Proudly British Wool certified: traceable and 100% Wool 

 CarrieSymesCrochet design and sell unique & original crochet patterns, booklets and kits.  Many of these patterns only require one skein of beautiful hand-dyed wool or yarn. 

 From our flock to your needles. At Catlow Yarns, we create beautiful, small-batch wool products from our own Gotland sheep — including hand-dyed yarns, raw fleece, roving, and felted living rugs. Ethically raised, locally spun, and proudly British. 

 Cherishedchums creates kits for you to hand stitch your own wool felt animal Chum. Each Chum is available in two sizes and its’ kit includes everything you’ll need to complete it except the stuffing. Over 20 designs to choose from! 

 Fiona of Cosy Rosie UK designs modern, easy-to-read crochet patterns for you and your home, alongside size-inclusive designs for your wardrobe. Her curated crochet kits use popular yarns, selected tools and accessories to ensure you can complete your project with confidence. 

 We have been hand dyers of luxury yarns and fibres for 14 years. We have blends that include yak, camel and alpaca as well as tussah and mulberry silks. We are main stockists of Lykke needles and hooks. we have our own brand of umbrella swifts and winders 

From her studio in Liverpool she runs workshops from Beginners to Advanced and also hosts a community group once a month, keeping heritage crafts alive and bringing likeminded people together

Lucy Locket Land is a happy, friendly craft shop in the North East of England specialising in natural fibre yarns and knitting, stitching and crochet kits. Socks, Shawls, Fair Isle, Toys and more. There is something for everyone and wonderful accessories too! With a particular love for colour, and fun and a passion for sharing the joy of creativity, Lucy’s shop is always a welcoming place to be and she brings that sparkle and enthusiasm to the yarn shows she attends too.

Midge hand crafts pure wool and sheepskin baby shoes, and designs knitting and crochet kits with historic and rural themes. Midge also hand dyes embroidery threads and designs embroidery kits.

 Penny Stitch craft is a Liverpool based indie yarn dyer, craft tutor and designer of upcycled project bags and tool pouches.  She has been dyeing her yarns inspired by sci-fi and fantasy themes for over 2 years and has developed her reputation as a skilled freelance crochet and knitting tutor around Merseyside. You may have met her at a workshop.   Come to her stand where there is a little something for everyone. Stock up on everything you need to enhance your crafting experience including Stitch markers, sock blockers, wool wash as well as range of plant and wool based hand dyed yarns.  She also supports other designers by stocking a small selection of knitting and crochet patterns which you can also buy yarn kits to make them with.  

 Pickle-Lily - Making cute things! There are handmade bags and accessories for knitters and crocheters (and little visitors). Project bags from large to petite (to fit in a handbag). The tote bags have a snap handle so it can be hung over a handle or chair arm. Yarn tubs are made from fabric and wool mix felt, the perfect size to hold a 100g skein of yarn, balled, it is portable and doesn't break! As well as storage for dpns, circular needles, notions, and knitting needles / crochet hooks, needle books and yarn tubs and progress keepers in cute little tins.  For younger visitors – she has made toy carriers from fabric and wool felt, there’s often nothing to occupy them at these events. And of course  I Spy bags All UKCA tested – doesn’t need batteries, upgrading or the wifi! Everything is practical, useful, cute and made with love. 

 Red Squirrel and Dune is a Formby-based artisan yarn company specialising in hand-dyed, small-batch fibres. Inspired by coastal landscapes and natural textures, they create unique colourways with eco-conscious methods. Their yarns blend creativity and sustainability, offering makers a tactile connection to nature and a story in every skein. 

 Sardines For Tea design unique toys and characters that are easy to knit, and easy to love! Their kits contain all you'll need to create your own little animal, using high quality yarns and materials. On their stand you will also find some lovely yarns and quirky haberdashery. 

 Second City Yarns is all about celebrating Birmingham using vibrant colours and non superwash British yarn and fibre. Inspiration comes from the Botanical Gardens, Jewellery Quarter and even the city's iconic 11 bus route! You can also pick up a Brummie Beanie kit to keep your head warm.  

Super Effective Fibres creates hand-dyed yarn with inspiration from gaming, pop culture and general geekiness, mainly Merino and Yak bases. They also create beaded stitch markers in a variety of cute and nerdy designs. 

 The Craft Firm specialises in creating beautiful handmade luxury items from the finest alpaca fleece and yarns. From handspun to hand dyed yarns, carded batts for spinning, fleece for felting, knitting kits and ready made accessories, all incredibly warm and soft to touch. Based in the Forest of Bowland they produce handspun yarn from their own herd of alpacas as well as selling other gorgeous alpaca yarns hand dyed on their farm. They will be bringing a range of products to the show, and especially a range of exciting designs from two Yorkshire based designers, Fiona Drake and Lucy Burns. 

 Treddling woman, a Manchester based small business founded in 2008. Our ethos is to provide a quality product at an affordable price using high quality fabrics and notions, sourced where possible in the UK.  All of our products are manufactured in house. We produce everything from tiny purses & soft storage items to notions pouches and project bags, perfect for housing everything from your stitch markers to larger sweater sized projects.  The range is constantly evolving and we are always happy to discuss commissions if you have a specific need. 

 I am a small batch yarn hand dyer. And I will be selling my hand dyed yarns which are made from Shetland wool and local alpaca fleeces.  I will also be selling hand dyed and natural fleeces, which are cleaned and carded ready to be used for spinning or felting. 

 Roni, The Woolchemist is an artisan small batch dyer based in central Scotland, specialising in extra fine merino and merino blend yarns suitable for next to skin wear. The inspiration for her unique shades comes from her love of books, especially the fantasy genre, and there’s always story behind them.  

 Joey aka The Yarn Artist lovingly creates hand-dyed yarn inspired by artists and their masterpieces from her home studio in Chester, UK and is proud to be able to ship her yarn worldwide, showcasing the best of British artisanship to an international audience.  Her art-themed yarn is bursting with colour, with a vibrancy that makes each skein a pleasure to work with. Joey hopes you will feel a sense of joy in your fingertips as soon as you pick up a skein of this special yarn.  As an independent dyer, Joey aims to provide an ever expanding collection of quality, unique hand-dyed yarn on a variety of weights using luxury fibres such as Falkland Merino, Silk and Alpaca. 

 I needle felt animal portraits and landscapes in the Lake District. I process every stage of my locally-sourced fleeces from sheep to framed picture. The fibres and techniques I use give a three-dimensional texture capturing the subject in a unique way. Demonstrations on the stand. Commissions taken. 

 I create unique crochet appliqué pattern designs which can be used to embellish a wide range of products including blankets, hats, bags and clothing. I also design applique blankets. A wide range of patterns and a selection of kits will be available to purchase. 

 As a self-taught Macrame designer and artist, Debbie creates a wide variety of pieces in her Ribble Valley home. These range from imposing, bespoke one-offs to smaller, decorative, and functional pieces, many of which are also available as kits that are ideally suited to those starting out on the Macrame adventure. She only uses UK sourced yarn and likes to enhance her makes with scavenged driftwood. 

 Woolmouse is a small independent retailer stocking an hand picked range of commercial and hand dyed yarns, including our own brand Lovehandyed by David. We also carry a full range of accessories and woolly associated products, patterns, gifts and kits. 

 Yarn Unique is a North West based Indie Dyer of the most luxurious yarn bases, known for rich and saturated colourways.  With a spectrum of shades to choose from, on yarn of Silk, Yak and Merino, you are certain to find the perfect yarn for your next project!
