Learn how to follow a filet crochet chart and pattern as you stitch up a geometric sample swatch which will show you the technique is used to re-create images in a unique way.
You’ll come away ready to tackle a larger, blanket version of the pattern to recreate at home, with complete confidence.

Learn to spin using a top whorl drop spindle. Charlotte will take you through the basics of spinning, from choosing your wool, how to start your spinning, drafting your wool and turning it into a plied yarn.
You'll receive:

Marianne will take you through the construction of a mini sock in DK yarn, using magic loop method, focussing on turning the heel with a heel flap and gusset of a sock.
You will learn:
*how to knit socks to fit
*how to adapt your pattern
Advised to know:
K2tog, P2tog, SSK, Knit and purl.
Bring:
* 3.5 mm or 4mm interchangeable tips and a 80-100cm cable (or a fixed circular needle) Scissors and 2 stitch markers.

Whether you are just starting your crochet journey or looking to learn new techniques, Fiona's thoughtfully designed patterns, workshops and step-by-step guides are here to support and encourage you to elevate your crochet skills and gain confidence with every stitch.
She's been hosting in-person crochet workshops since 2018, and publishing her own pattern since 2019. You may have spotted some of her designs in prestigious publications such as Happily Hooked Magazine, Christmas Crochet, and has also designed for Hobbycraft too.
Fiona loves to share her skills offering beginner friendly crochet patterns that are supported with video tutorials to allow beginners and improvers to the craft to increase their confidence in their own crochet skills.
Fiona’s favourite projects to design are patterns that allow beginners and improvers add a new technique to their skills as they make beautiful size inclusive garments and homeware patterns that make home a happier, cosy place to be.
Charlotte Battersby has been a partner at Adelaide Walker since 2022 and has quickly become an expert spinner. She has helped numerous people with their spinning, both in informal one-to-one sessions and group workshops.
